Post 800 is proud to be the Idyllwild California home of The American Legion, the world's largest veterans organization with over 2.7 million members. As wartime veterans, working through nearly 15,000 community level posts, we dedicate ourselves to God and Country and traditional American values; strong national security; adequate and compassionate care for veterans, their widows and orphans; community service; and the wholesome development of our nation's youth.

throughout America and abroad. Kent American Legion Post
496 is one of those local Posts consisting of your
friends and neighbors who are proud to be called
Legionnaires. While the vast majority of our members are
from Kent and Portage County, we have members from all
over the state and country.
